    It's always been Piett for me. Veers comes a close second, though. Tarkin is more overrated than ice cream--the arrogant egomaniac triggered his own doom by stupidly staying in the Death Star.

    Dammit, Piett could've destroyed the rebels in the second Death Star were it not for the Emperor's stupidity [face_frustrated]

    I'm going with Veers. The dude is cold and efficient, like every good officer should be.


    Not too long ago I saw a book written by the guy who played Jerjerrod on how to play Hamlet. I actually recognized him from his 3 minutes of screen time. [face_laugh] Maybe that will influence the vote :p

    My fav is Piett and it is Vader's and the Emperor's too. The evidence is there. Only Piett is given the higest priority jobs. Vader makes him Admiral of his star destroyer and in Return of the Jedi, what does Piett say... "I have special instructions from the Emperor himself." Who else gets a direct call from the boss. Also, he is the only Imperial Officer to last long enough to be in both Empire and Return of the Jedi. Look too at when Lando and the gang get away at the end of Empire Stikes Back... Vader is def pissed and if you look close he slightly turns to glance a Piett to show his unhappiness. Any other officer would have been killed right there on the spot. Piett is recognized by Vader and the Emperor for having special talents. Forget Veers... he is a good solder but he is not even close to the leader that Piett is. It is one thing to command a few Imperial Walkers but it is another to be the Admiral of an Imperial FLEET! Takrin got his ass destroyed b/c he was too foolish. If there were more Pietts and less Tarkin's the Empire would have lasted for all time.
