Grand Moff Tarkin,"Charming to the last".
EU: Thrawn and Pellaeon
Other: Admiral Piett and Darth Vader - Well, Vader is an imperial officer too IMO...
Piett. Don't know why, though.
I'm going to go with General Maximilian Veers
I think I've been influenced since I've come to these boards for that choice....
I also like Tarkin and Piett. There, the gold silver and bronze.
General Veers, prepare your men!
I'm torn between Piett and Veers, but ground troopers have it harder than starship captains, so I'm saying Veers.
Do you think his friends call him Max?
Piett, the best-acted minor character in the Saga (if one doesn't count Jimmy Smits, Temuera Morrison, and Peter Mayhew, and I don't know why they would).
Without a doubt Grand Moff Tarkin
I voted other: Grand Admiral Gilad Pellaeon
The Empire will always strike back !!
Grand Admiral Thrawn from the EU.
It's definitely Admiral Piett.
I would say Piett, he was definitly a good commander. Tarkin was a little too ambitious, and Thrawn was ten times that. If you blinked long enough you could have missed Veer's part.
My vote goes to Piett. I am not sure... I get this strange feeling whenever I see his scenes of promotion in the movies. It's like something I can relate to. You feel insignificant, but end up getting this position of high power due to other's mistakes.
That is, not counting Thrawn of course. I entirely forgot about his for the second I was voting. But of course everyone will vote him... And then 3rd place is Pellaeon.
tarkin all the way...he is the only officer wich is safe to say that he killed more people than vader (alderaan)
My favorite is Tarkin, but I can't help but wonder: is he really an imperial officer? It seems weird to call him that. He seems more like a political figure to me, despite the uniform. Perhaps "imperial official" is a better term for Tarkin?
I would say Piett. He has this Admiral-ish kind of personality and I thought that was kinda cool. Second would be Veers. He always reminded me of a German Soldier I don't know why. Perhaps his acting.
