Who is your favorite Lord Of The Rings character?

The old poll on this was somehow broken.

Here's a fresh new one in anticipation of ROTK.

I picked Gandalf.

A hard choice, but I'd have to say Aragorn son of Arathorn.

Samwise for sure. He's the strength that Frodo needs to complete his quest. He's ever loyal and brave. The perfect hobbit.

He is the single greatest creation of Tolkien's mind. Boromir is a veritable mortal God. He ruled, plain and simple, and is my favorite.

I'm the first person to vote for Frodo? Geeeez.

I just think that Frodo is a great character. He was burdened with a task he didn't want to bear, and yet he did. It destroyed him, yes, but could anyone have lasted so long?

Probably not. Yes, Sam was certainly the needed support, but it was Frodo's burden. There's a pity there.

 

Aragon would have to be my fave.

Aragorn is a nice stalwart guy but I'm biased in favour of the blond elf.

Oh and the fact that he's simply beautiful doesn't hurt either!

I can't believe Gandalf has on;ly one vote. Did you see how he laid it to the balrog?

 

Samwise is the best of the characters. Without him the quest couldn't have succeeded because he carried Frodo on the last part of the journey. He was the one who got Frodo to Mount Doom.

 

Gosh, it's so hard! I finally picked Legolas...but it was a difficult choice...

 

I voted other, my vote goes to Boromir. But we all know Legolas will get the most votes since he's got the fan girls on his side.

 

Other: Eowyn, with Eomer coming in a close second.

Serisouly, his character is amazing... even better in the movies than the books, and Elijah portrays him perfectly and amazingly.
