I know I chose Gandalf originally, but after watching FOTOR the other day Boromir is quite interesting and Sean Bean does a masterful job with him.

So for now, I'm thinking Boromir.

I think my fellowship favorite will always be Aragorn[face_love]. However, if we were talking favorite LotR character, it'd be Faramir [face_love] [face_love] [face_love] .

    Gimli, Son of Gloin!
Played by John Rhys-Davies who, as a lot of you will know, played Sallah in Indiana Jones. There is a lot I love about his protrayal of the character which is hard to list.

second favourite is Faramir, Captain of Gondor.

Of the ones listed, I choose Aragorn. However, I also like Elrond, Gollum, Théoden and Éowyn. And if we include the Silmarillion, then I like Fëanor, Turgon and Thingol.

Other- I've always been partial to Eowyn. But that could just be the feminist in me speaking. She could whoop major butt.

    Close second: Faramir. [face_love]

I picked Frodo, mostly from a character arc standpoint. He's an interesting character with some depth. This little halfling dealing with the huge responsibility of carrying the One Ring makes for fascinating reading or viewing. His story is especially compelling at the end.

Legolas, but I didn't pick him because of the fangirl thing.
I think, in LotR, the Elves are very fascinating creatures. legolas, Elrond, Galadriel,etc... well, and so I picked him;)

You mean I have to choose one? :_|:_|

I love them all -- really. Right from Sam to Frodo to Aragorn through the Fellowship to the Riders of Rohan, the rangers of Gondor, Saruman and his Uruk-hai to poor old Gollum/Smeagol. I love this book to pieces, so I find it really hard to choose just one favourite.

But... since I have to choose... I'm going with Sam. :) But Frodo, Aragorn, Gollum, Legolas, Faramir, Eowyn, Gandalf are all very close. Even ranked the same. :p

This was really hard! I love Faramir, Boromir, Eomer, Eowyn, all the Elves, Aragorn... do you want me to list everyone!?

I finally picked Legolas, because he kicks serious butt. And I completely love him![face_love]
