Galadriel. She's beautiful and strong - and not to mention cool, especially since she refused to give a lock of her hair to Fëanor, only to give some to a dwarf two ages later... :p

I chose Faramir, but I'm not sure if it's not Treebeard.

    Book!Faramir is very wise

Movie!Faramir is very kind and noble - and had a good arc (esp in the EE)

And last and proudest, Imrahil, Prince of Dol Amroth, kinsman of the lord, with gilded banners bearing his token of the Ship and the Silver Swan, and a company of knights in full harness riding grey horses...tall as lords, grey-eyed, dark-haired, singing as they came.

    Arwen

I was a little surprised when I realised that I would be voting for her. But thinking about any non-fellowship characters ... no others came as clearly to mind as her. I have never finished the books, so my influence is entirely through the films. And, there's just something about Arwen that creates the perfect connection with Aragorn. Like what Zebra said on the first page; I definitely agree with it all.

I still remember when I first discovered that about you. Forever awesome. @};-

I would have to vote with Faramir. He is wise beyond his years and a true descendant of Numenorean blood, despite what he might think of himself.

    Saruman

Gollum annoys me, both in the book and the movie. Eowyn annoys me in the book. Faramir is a walking plot-device. Sauron is a bad wannabe-Morgoth.

The kid that shows Pippin around Minas Tirith is cooler than all of them combined.

Second is Galadriel, then Elrond, then Grima, then Theoden
then Treebeard, but only because I can't think of anything to say against him :p
