Who is your favorite Rogue/Wraith pilot?

Corran. But Wedge, Janson, and Face kick major butt, too. Not to mention Gavin, Tyria, and Ton. Plus, all the others are pretty darned cool. Okay, I just like the Rogues and Wraiths!

 

Wes is simply the best, IMO. But since he already had 4 votes, I voted for the second best pilot IMO, Face.

Reasons To Vote For Wes Janson:

1) It's his perverted mind that created Kettch, not to mention the now-infamous phrase, "Yub, yub, Commander."

2) Self-proclaimed 'best-looking in women's dress. ( When speaking to Wedge, Hobbie, and Tycho in 'Starfighters of Adumar,' page 190.)

3) He's such a gentleman. After flirting with a girl less than half his age, he didn't hesitate to offer to throw himself on her lightsaber.

4) According to Shalla Nelprin, he's got a "nice rear."

5) He's great at a party!

Damnit, I voted "other" because I didn't see Face up there... and just as the page refreshed, I saw Face. D'oh.

 

voted for wedge cause hes the best pilot but kell is good too sometimes i wish i could vote more than once.

Also, why isn't anyone showing any love for Hobbie? Poor Hobbie.

 

Hobbie's cool. But we rarely ever see him in any of the EU novels. (He's used in the Rogue Squadron comics) Other than the comics we see him in Starfighters of Adumar. I thought he was really interesting in that book, but when you have characters like Janson around to upstage him...it's hard to vote for Hobbie.

 

I just feel sorry for the poor guy. I mean, he's one of the originals. *Sigh* I guess nowadays tradition doesn't stand a chance against cheap wit and reckless bravery.

Wedge, Tycho, Janson and Hobbie would all be clsoe seconds to Biggs in my book.

After fierce uncertainty and debate, I finally managed to vote for Wes...only because he was lagging behind Wedge. I can't narrow them down! Wes, Wedge, Hobbie, Tycho...they're all cool.

 

I voted for Face cuz I dont know. he too is comic relief. and I love Wedge, Wes, Tycho and Corran but heck i couldnt pick all five of them. So i just decided on one of them. but I did like Wes and Lt. Kettch.i couldnt stop laughing for days . . .

 

Hmm, no votes for Tycho? I guess he's always going to someone's wingman.

Like most other people, I was torn between Wes and Wedge. Wes may have invented Lt. Kettch, but Wedge did get the ultimate revenge on that subject in Solo Command.

 

From the taking out Wedge in the simulator to becoming jedi, Corran kicks it up a notch.

 

Face Loran all the way, baby. The man is the sexiest thing in the SW EU.

Although Janson is pretty cool-walking around wearing nothing but a stuffed Ewok...

But definitely Face. He's sexy, and he's got a sense of humor. A weird one-the very best kind there is.

 

They are all amazing, of course...but I always have to go for my wonderful Wedge!

 

As i have said many times before, Wedge is THE BEST STARFIGHTER PILOT EVER! he survived both Desth Star Attacks, the battle of Hoth, he took a commando force to Courescant, and he has no scrap of force ability what so ever. If Luke did not have the Force, he could not hold a candle to Wedge.

I had to vote for Corran. Big surprise for those who know me, right? Anyway, the only reason I'm posting anything is to say that if Corran hadn't been a choice in this poll, I would've voted for Tycho. I just feel so sorry for him sitting there at 0 votes that I had to say something in his favor. He and Wedge are my second favorites. I'm not sure which one of the two I like better.

 

I think this poll should be split up into two; favorite Rogues and favorite Wraiths, that way there are more choices for each.
