Saga who is your favorite sith lord ?

Vader, but Maul was a cool and nimble little turd.

 

Would vote for Darth Plagueis as the novel made him my favorite CHARACTER in the entire saga (in any medium) but if we're limiting it to simply what we saw on film, definitely Darth Sidious.

Also, Kylo Ren is most definitely not a Sith (confirmed by Abrams). Nothing has been officially stated relating to Snoke but it is unlikely that he is presently a Sith. Whether he was one in the past and has since abandoned the order though is unclear.

 

Vader, but I thought Maul was pretty awesome too.

 

One you didn't list here: Darth Bane. (and before you jump in with the "he's not canon!" arguments, he was in TCW, making him canon!)
He didn't do a Jedi purge, instead he did a Sith purge and was the only one to survive. He set in place the rule of 2, that would culminate in the near-destruction of the Jedi and the Sith rule of the galaxy. He was the prologue to Sidious's epilogue. Every Sith listed here is following the Sith Order as he defined it.

 

Sidious, especially in ROTS and ROTJ because he's having so much fun just being evil and I love it

 

Dooku. Mostly because he's played so well by Christopher Lee.

Intimidating, angry, has the same fighting style as Anakin except more brutal and is fresh off military experience from the Clone Wars. Once in suit, he becomes a generic, crippled and pathetic cool design....

I should probably point out that neither Snoke nor Kylo Ren are in fact Sith.

 

I'll rank them:

1) Vader: full of hidden depth without having to talk about what is going on inside as you can see it in his body language or hear it in Jones' inflections. Terrific costume, voice, intimidation factor, power, smarts. But at the same time this vulnerable side, his lonelyness and lostness and the breathing apparatus he needs to survive.

2) Maul: He really grew on my in TCW. His relationship to his brother is touching and I can understand why he is so obsessed with revenge or proving his strength to Sidious.

3) Kylo: Egomaniac with a vulnerable side as well

4) Palpatine/Dooku: tied for me









5) Snoke: terrible character, just terrible

 

Count Dooku. He has a lot of style.
Also.Darth Vader/Anakin,before he lost his limbs.

 

What's so terrible about Snoke?

 

He looks like a generic Zombie and acts exactly like the most cliché evil overlord I have seen in a while.

 

Sidious. As far as baddies go, can't beat the almost demonic presence lurking behind the charismatic politician persona. Vader's up there as well, of course, although I agree that pre-suit Anakin and the ROTJ act of atonement define the character for me more so than all the suited Vader hallmarks. Dooku's great too, though. Loved the gentleman duelist stuff.

Vader, judging from my profile pic. He's the biggest bad*** in the galaxy.

 

Palpatine/Darth Sidious. I absolutely love demonic charismatic villains that control all their enemies and allies like pawns. On top of that, if you are unlucky enough to fight Palpatine, you are finished.

 

Vader or Dooku

 

My #1 is Vader and then #2 is Maul. I like them all though, but will wait until after Episode 9 to fully rate Snoke and Kylo
