Luke, he's the one I used to be when playing Star Wars in the backyard and still is my fave.

Fave EU character used to be Jacen, but now...I'll just go with Wedge and Boba Fett since neither really had much character in the movies until the EU gave them souls. That is when EU is at its very best, expanding what was in the movies.

 

don't betray Jacen...granted he has betrayed everyone else in the eu and alot of his fans...please join use in the dark side....

 

I used to like Jacen, he never really got on my nerves but after hearing what happened to Mara, gah, I can't get the image out of my head. It burns.

 

Jaina Solo. I also like Jagged, Anakin Solo, Zekk, Tenel Ka, and I'm fond of Zayne Carrick from the new comics.

 

seriously, Jaina looks like a young liv Tyler in your icon.

 

Jaina could be cool but they never give the women a chance and that's very dissappointing and believe it or not I am a guy.

Oh forgot Tulak Hord though only mentioning way...he could be very instrusting and cool to see if they ever make him that is...(Ie picture)

 

I don't know why, but ever since I first read about him, I have always liked Zekk. Maybe it's the whole "love of the underdog" thing. That's why I still want him to get with Jaina (That and I have Asperger's). Jag is still not one of my faves, but I AM starting to respect him at least.
But other than that, I used to love the Solo twins, but now I don't really like Jacen. In fact, I really miss the old one that used to crack jokes and play with animals. Now he's a shadow of his former self. Jaina's still OK, but man, does she have issues!

Anyway, I also LOVE Revan! There's just something about that character that REALLY appeals to me. And I love Mara Jade too. I was really cut up when I read Sacrifice. I knew what was going to happen to her, so as I read the book, I got more and more sad until finally I read the scene where Jacen kills her, and I damn near burst into tears!

And back to Jacen: after I finished that book, I picked out my copy of Heirs of the Force and flipped through the first chapter, taking a look at his old cheerful character. I looked at him, and said "you no longer exist".

 

Yeah Zek is cool but I'd like him better if he either a remained a dark jedi or b...got over Jaina since she won't well you know.

 

Jacen Solo. Even in LotF where I want him to get OWNED by luke or ben, he is still the character I love to follow the most and has been since NJO.

Luke, Nom Anor, and Thrawn are all close seconds.

 

Although I like "everybody", four months after my first lenthy post, I have two names:

Anakin Solo - a level-headed, practical Jedi willing to use the Force to get the job done. He was meant to be Luke's replacement, the leader of the new New Jedi Order. If a Solo had to go, it should have been any of them except Leia and Anakin. (I wanted to see Leia become a Jedi Knight.) This was the biggest EU storytelling mistake ever. They need to do a 'Bobby Ewing' and fix it. Seriously.

Anakin's great grandmother Shmi Skywalker - She was like a great center of calm in a chaotic universe and she wasn't even a Jedi Master.

 

Films: Luke Skywalker, the greatest Jedi.

EU-only character: Corran Horn, pretty much just because of I,Jedi. His portrayal in Dark Nest made me like him less though.
