Wonder Woman was my favorite superhero besides Superman. I watched that tv show when I was a kid and I even had Wonder Woman underoos. *blushes*
I would have to say Superman just because that was the first superhero I knew about. Spider-man is cool, Batman is a crime-fighter and not a Super-hero (as stated above somewhere). I also like the Thing and Wolverine.
Overall: Magneto (Supervillain)
Personelly wolverine takes cake
kick but no matter what the odds
This is truly a tough decision. Wolverine is my only option because even he could whoop Superman. Adamantium claws rip through steel like buttah.
Spider-Man. I love how he's just a normal, vulnerable human being we could all relate to.
Wolverine, of course!
Gambit From the X-men
Blade. What? He counts.
that would be Flash Gordon.
Y'know if Superman had the "right attitude" he could whip the crap out of Wolverine and anybody else but Superman doesnt have that 'killer instinct' to use his power to it's full extent.
(basically super EVERYTHING)
he should never lose a fight, but like I said he lacks that killer instinct.
Spiderman without a doubt. One of the most realistic heroes next to Batman. The movies turned me back to the genre after many years of hatred.
"Tsukini kawatte, oshioki yo!"
Though the Tick and Darkwing Duck are close runners-up...
As far as the "well-knowns" go, I'm a Batman and Wolverine girl!
It all depends for me.
My favorite anime superhero is Sailor Mercury from Sailor Moon. However, my sentimental favorite is a guy by the name of Wesley Dodds-the golden age Sandman. He fought crime in a gas mask, fedora, pinstripe suit and trenchcoat. He defined cool.
Modern age? It's gotta be the last son of Krypton, the man of tomorrow, the man of steel, the defender of truth, justice and the American way! And who, disguised as Clark Kent, a mild-mannered reporter for a major metroploitan newspaper, fights the never ending battle! Superman!
Batman followed closely but Spidey, if not tied.
The realism does it for me.
The Flash Rocks!!! Superman Sucks because he's way too hard to kill.
