M. Night Shyamalan
Spielberg. Been a big fan of him for over 20 years. I had the pleasure of meeting him 3 years ago while i was working at Dreamworks. His a great a guy as he is a director.
Stanely Kubrick would come in second, Lucas third (for giving us Star Wars). Scorsese and Francis Ford fourth.
Spielberg, though I wish Kevin Smith was on the list.
Kevin Smith, all the way.
no kubrick, no scorsase, no gilliam, no hitchcock, coppola, jarmusch, oliver stone, soderburgh, kurisawa, joel and ethen cohan.
where are the real choices?
Personally, I vote for Steven Spieldberg. I think he is a fantastic director, with such films as Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, and the Color Purple.
Gotta love the man
My second would go to Martin Scorcesse. Between Taxi Driver and Gangs of New York, he has proven himself.
Steven Spielberg ,with George Lucas close behind
He's either liked or hated but I gotta go with Jerry Bruckhiemer. Armageddon was great. No shot lasts longer then 7 seconds. Talk about keeping the momentem going.
Bad Boys 2
Gone In 60 Seconds
Sometimes the plots suck, but directing is always great.
Lucas what are you people thinking!
John Ford. A lot of the action-adventure genre owes a lot to him...
it's gotta be a tie between peter jackson and martin scorsese for me.
Definitely Speilberg. No other director has made as many movies that I've enjoyed.
I wouldn't vote anybody besides George Lucas.
This question is impossible to answer -- forced to choose something more specialized -- David Cronenberg!!!
[hl=black]GEORGE LUCAS OF COURSE![/hl]
Every movie he makes is important and breaks new ground.
Other - Karan Johar, and if anyone knows who he is, I'll be really really really excited!
