    Merry or Pippin, easily. And I would go for Frodo over Sam any day.

    But I'll say Pippin. Or Peregrin Took. The wide-eyed hobbit who, as he should, does not fit in. Plus, the steward of Gondor scene is excellent. A mighty fine voice.

    From LotR, Sam.
    But, from all Tolkien's books, Bilbo is the best (in "The Hobbit").
