Who is your favourite supporting character in Garfield comic strips?

NOTE: I don't count Jon or Odie, since both they're featured most of the time, so I count them as main characters together with Garfield.

 

Nermal - so cute, so conceited.

 

My fave is Monday, because it's the only abstract thing with a personality. Plus, he (it?) is the only one that can get Garfield.

Yes, I grew up reading a lot of Garfield. I think I've read almost every single one at least twice.

The last I ever saw of Doc Boy (that I remember) was in that late 1980s or early 1990s Garfield Christmas Special. lol!

Speaking of which, is Nermal male in the comic but female in the cartoon?

Nermal is a male in both, but was voiced by a woman in the cartoon. Kind of like Bart Simpson.

 

But Nermal isn't even close to masculine sounding in the cartoon!

After giving it some thought, i have finally decided to vote. I went for the talking scales.

and I also still refuse to believe that the cartoon Nermal is not a female kitty.

 

This was a hard one to decide, but I had to go with Doc Boy. I have the Garfield Christmas special on DVD, and Doc Boy always cracks me up.

My favourites are dogs, the ones with warning signs or the one that goes "(something) Dog!".
