Who is your favourite SW EU author?

Michael Stackpole

That was so hard to choose! Zahn and Stackpole are just both so good, I nearly couldn't decide! Corran and Thrawn are two of the greatest EU characters, and all the books they've each written in the SW universe are great. I, well, just went with Stackpole because of, um, because that's what I was edging for. *shrugs* I want to vote for both!




Oh how I'd loved to vote for Jude Watson to get her on the charts... but that's not possible.

 

Zhan for me!

 

Matt Stover, followed by Allston probably. And Daley.

 

At the moment, Denning because of the Dark Nest Trilogy, but is closely followed by Stackpole, Allston and Stover

 

Stover all the way. His writing is so deliciously dark...

This was so hard to decide on!

Eventually had to go with Luceno. I seem to always enjoy his books much mmore than anyone else's.

 

Definitely Zahn, but Stover's an extremely close second.

 

Stackpole, with Stover a close second.

Though I've long considered Zahn as probably the best SW author, just not my favorite. There is a distinction.

Actually, it's Stover, by far.

 

Zahn, though Stover and Luceno are close contenders.

 

Normally I would say Timothy Zahn but I clicked other just because I was shocked Karen Traviss didn't make the list at all.

Stover and Denning are in a league of their own. I'll give the edge to Matt.

 

Matthew Stover is close second, but the winner is Timothy Zahn.

For me it's a toss-up between Timothy Zahn and Michael Stackpole. I like both of them a lot but it's too hard to pick one over the other.

 

Allston, he never fails to deliver a great blend of action, humour, character development and romance.

 

Timothy Zahn and Michael A. Stackpole for me.
