1)Is it George? Did he wake up one morning, call John Williams and say 'I want a large, operatic song called 'Duel of the Fates?'

    2) Is it John? Does John have that much control in the Star Wars universe that he adds his own insight into the films?

    3) Is it Rick (or some other lacky?) Are these tracks simply named by some Lucas underling when the CD is going to print?

    Just curious.

I'm pretty sure Williams names the tracks. He sees the movie and composes to it. So, the titles have a lot to do with what scene they're playing to.

I don't think it's JW, particularly when the soundtracks re-edit and sometimes change the names of the tracks.

Also, if you look at the sheet music the symphony used for Duel of the Fates, it's called "The Great Dual" (yes, it is misspelled.)

And Cigam Retah, if Rick named the tracks they'd all have names like "Across the ****ing Stars" or "The ****ing BOLD Parade".

    Rick McCallum loves you!
