Who played the back of Vader's head in ESB?

I guess this is one of those things I've never really wondered about, but now that I have, I gotta know.

Was it Prowse? A dummy head?

I'm 90% sure I read it was Prowse himself.



I very seriously doubt it was Tim Rose (who played Salacious Crumb), as last I heard he was not employed on the set of ESB.

So it looks like Prowse did get his chance to play Vader unmasked.
