Who should play the role of Darth Vader?

I think, to have been completely fair to Prowse, it should have been the same person in and out of the mask in ROTJ. Likewise, in EP3, to be fair to Hayden, it should be the same person in and out of the mask.

 

It's not about being "fair" to Prowse or Christensen. It's about who is the right actor to play a given character at a given point in that character's life.

 

You have a point there. But, if Star Wars. com states Anakins height as 6'1" (which is Haydens height), and Darth Vaders height as 6'6" IN ARMOUR why not let Hayden do it? The armour and boots should easily get him to that point, don't you think?

 

I'm not saying Hayden shouldn't do it. I never thought Prowse should play Anakin before; and given his behavior and physical condition, he's in no condition to do it now. I'd love to see Hayden play Vader. And I'll be glad that Prowse didn't get it.

 

I think HUGH Jackman is going to be VADER.

Think about it, he is about the same height as Hayden but bulkier.

I meant, what else Jackman assigned as?

PS: I do hoped Hayden will play Vader, though. He worked hard for it, and I think he deserved it.
