Who wants Tales from EU Limbo?

here's an idea I've been toying with.

A fan-fic anthology of Tales from EU Limbo. All those loose ends you just wish could be cleared up.

With this forum being the arena to decide what stories really need to be told, we can begin to really bering the EU together amongst ourselves.

I don't just mean stories of random characters all over the timeline. I simply mean 10 or so stories of events only ever talked about or alluded to, but in their own way are a major part of the EU. And since no one else is writing stories between ANH and NJO anymore, we can use these stories to provide a final resolution between ourselves, and accept it as canon-ish enough to fill the gap?!?

Me! I wouldn't mind writing one, actually. Are you talking a round robin thing or everyone sits and watches while you go do your thing?

 

I'm talking about a community-led anthology of say 10 or so stories covering important events from ANH to NJO that happen off-page and have never been detailed, only alluded to.

I figured people could vote for which event they feel would make the best story, how it should be done. As much input as possible from everyone so we can mould soemthing as close to "canon" as poss.

As for whose gonna write 'em, I'm up for doing one. Anyone else?

Like I said, sticking with events that have actually happened as opposed to brand new plotlines.

A couple of my ideas were:

A story based around Thrawns reappearance before TTT when he brought the Empire back together to fight.

How Luke met Nichos Marr and Cray.

Mon Mothma's death.

Chewie's enslavement (we all know about the rescue tho).

Wraith Squadron's first mission as an Intelligence unit.


What do people really want??

I would be very interested in this sort of thing, but I'm already doing a Dash Rendar Trilogy and he's my fav' char in EU Limbo

 

My guess is that if you write one and post it in the Fanfic forum proper, more people will get into the idea.
