Our chefs donned their hats and began mixing their ingredients with practiced intensity. Every movement of their hands was a work of art. Sweat beaded on their foreheads as they desperately tried to remember the most important ingredient?the one that would produce the answer that they sought.

When a character from "The Simpsons" wins, does that count as a win for the Simpsons?

 

I don't think so - surely "The Simpsons" in quote marks refers to the show, not any character therefrom . . .

This is off topic of this current game, but I am curious...is the LACWAC forum the last forum? Or will you add more forums to it? I think it would be interesting to have in some other forums as well.

 

I'll keep adding forums as forum mods request them. As it is right now, no other forum mods have expressed an interest. We'll probably go back to the JCC for a few rounds while other mods think about it.

Ah I see...I would like to see it in one of the RPFs...probably the RPR. That'd be interesting.

 

PM their mods and request it. You never know. They might say yes. It is more work for those mods, but I'm more than willing.

I think she was talking to me - we had this problem way back in the Jedi Draft as well, remember?

Re the whole wrong answer thing: what I said was accurate. It was "The Simpsons" that won both those tournaments, not any specific character from the show. That I failed to take into account the TV Comedy tourney as well as the Cartoons one is neither here nor there

Of course, if you were actually talking to nemisis, ignore that last bit . . .

Oldest continuous?
Oldest and still going?
Or just oldest as in first established regardless of what has happened since then?

 

It says nothing about being continuous or still going. I went with the oldest one I could find.

 

The question states specifically what answer it's after.
