Who was/is Sifo- Dyas?

    If this has been discussed here ad nauseum then I apologize.

    I do, however, want to know more about Sifo-Dyas, as do many of you.

    Who was his Jedi Master? Who was his Padawan learner? When did he go to the dark side? Was his intentions good or bad when he placed that order for the Clone Army? Did he think that it would benefit the Republic in the long run? Was he already evil when he placed that order or did he place that order before he turned to the dark side? Is he explained in any way, shape or form in any of the Star Wars literatures?

    I don't know alot about the PT but I have watched them before, though not as much as the CT. Any helpful posts will be appreciated. :)
