What evidence do you have? Not disputing here, I'm just interested, because I've never heard anybody with legitimate evidence of this, and you're fairly informed.

    1. Ask anyone to present evidence for Jesus, historical or otherwise, and you get nothing or vague asnwers that do not hold up.

    2. Every aspect of the Jesus story...born a virgin, 12 followers, last supper, walked on water, rasing the dead, crucified, etc...are attributes of various messiah's that came well before Christianity was a twinkle in anyone's eye. Example: Horus of Egypt raised a man named El-Azar-us from the dead.

Wrong. There are actual historical documents proving that Jesus of Nazareth did, in fact, exist. He may not have been a mystical being or son of God or anything else, but historically, there was a rabbi named Jesus who was the child of Joseph and Mary and had brothers and sisters.

As for what I voted- I did vote "Son of God", because I was raised that way, really. But I do lean more towards the "Prophet" answer. In those days, the miracles that he performed were rather common place. It was quite a different world back then, with different beliefs and life styles and things that we think are impossible were possible back then- or at least seemed to. Then again, most of what Jesus did, other rabbis could do too. (Note the most). So I tend to see him more as a prophet and then after his death as the son of God, if that makes sense...

I would say show me this documentation but this is not the thread for such things. In threads that do deal with such things we never get the evidence or documents that people claim as factual.

From what I've read, historians who subscribe to the Jesus Myth theory are taken about as seriously as scientists who subscribe to Intelligent Design. It's an untenable viewpoint motivated by one's religious views, just in the opposite direction.

?He is the god? and ?He is the son of the god ? he came to the earth to save his children and spread the love and peace to all. He is the Saviour, Creator, Destroyer and he is the one and only one god. The people love him will call him in the name of Christ.Jesus Christ

I'm a Catholic, so obviously I voted for Son of God, but he was also objectively an unorthodox visionary thinker (after all, he did exist and his teachings were very much unorthodox and visionary considering the time and culture in which he lived).
