    In the end credits in AotC it says: IN MEMORY OF STEVE BELL.

    So who was Steve Bell?

    This is something that's been bugging me ever since I first saw the film...

    This is from the Ep II Cameos and Hidden Images section on TFN:
    Steve's Story
    The closing credits include the reference "In Memory of Steve Bell" directly after the visual-effects credits. Producer Rick McCallum did that for the family of the talented digital artist, who died in a car accident not far from Skywalker Ranch. Bell worked on painting the starships in the Clone War battle sequences. (AZ Republic)
