Who were the heroes of the clone wars?

my vote is for R2 and 3PO.

 

I really don't have a single hero. The clones, Yoda, Mace, and the rest of the Jedi came at the sametime. Their all heroes.

 

Artoo and Threepio do next to nothing in the Clone Wars!

I belive that is what is says in the opening crawl. All that has been said thus far are the Republic fighters. General Grievous, and Count Dooku were heros for thier cause, aswell as any living beings who helped fight.

 

Agreed - the Separatist Confederacy and the Republic both may have been led by a bunch of corrupt, super-rich dictators (not to mention the Sith!), but there were billions of people on both sides who were truly fighting for freedom.

 

Anakin Skywalker was the hero of the Clone Wars, with secondary heros being: Obi-Wan, Mace, and Yoda.

 

i think it was the jedi who made the order for all the clones to make the army for the republic

 

Well, for me, as in each war the real heroes are the simple people fighting it- both the clone and regular troopers in the Grand Army and the people who fough for the CIS.

 

The heroes are the people who willingly gave there life to something that they believed in, ther were heroes on all sides.

 

Who here has forgotten Yoda's immortal line from ESB? "Wars not make one great." That being said, of the entire trilogy and clone wars, R2 does more to save more people than anyone else. Straight up didn't get no trophy at the end of Ep IV niether! Travesty!

 

As the Empire would probably say:

The heroes of these grave Clone Wars were the milions of soldiers who died without names that the people of the galaxy may be safe. The brave Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader, who defended our most glourious Emperor from the betrayal of the Jedi, and of course, his highness, whose hand guided us safely through this war to the greater power we are because of it.

 

My vote is for Yoda and/or Obi-wan.

 

According to the ROTS novel Anakin and Obiwan are the heroes of the clone wars together.The book makes much more about their partnership then the movie did. Strovers prolougue is great talking about how the adults in the galaxy are scared as they watch the Battle of Coruscant on the Holonet and hear that Palpatine have been taken, but across multiple worlds there children tell them everything will be all right because Anakin and Obiwan will be there.

 

A lot of characters have different reasons for being a hero .

 

Definetly the Jedi and the clones.
