I don't follow the AL as much as the NL, but I'll go with Oakland.

Everybody hates them, including me, but it's been *gasp* 2 years since they've won a world title. If they don't win it this year, they'll have to fire Torre.

I'm picking the Angels to repeat. Nobody seems to think they'll have a chance this year. I would have thought they'd have gotten some respect after winning the World Series.

 

As long as Oakland's Holy Trinity (Hudson, Mulder, Zito) remains intact, they'll always be a threat to the AL pennant. I'll pick them.

And I sincerely hope that they can work something out with Tejada after this season, but since the A's have limited funds, I won't hold my breath.

 

I guess KC is a legit contender at this stage of the season. Can they hold off the White Sox?

 

As much as I love my Twins, it'll probably be those Damn Yankees.
