    Tebow! Tebow! Tebow!

Although I'd say Chase Daniel (if they win the Big 12) and McFadden are also good candidates. I haven't watched Daniel other than for the Kansas game (he looked good), but he's lead his team to an excellent season. McFadden is obviously a stud and is probably the most talented of the bunch, but he has a couple of not so great games. And Dixon: well, it's a shame he went down.

Dennis Dixon, definitely. His explosiveness and versatility frustrated Oregon's opponents all year. It's such a shame he hurt is knee again in the Arizona game.

    Tebow.

Chase Daniel (and Pat White, to a lesser extent), probably lost their shot by losing this past weekend. If not for the injury, Dennis Dixon would be right there at the top, but the injury pretty much negates his shot at it. Which, IMO, narrows it down to two: Tebow and McFadden. And while part of me has to look hard at the game McFadden had against my Gamecocks, Tebow's been just as good and has been doing it more consistently all season. Yes, Florida has lost some games, but not for lack of performance from Tebow. And really, except for Hawaii, everybody's lost games (well, ok, OSU's only lost a game, but I'm not buying anybody on that team being a true Heisman contender, same for Kansas, though their QB did have a very good season) this year, far more than normal. So for me, that factors into the equation a bit. Colt Brennan deserves an invite and a mention, but I can't really buy him as a winner.

Crazy race, this year, rather like the BCS standings :p

Colt Brennan. Think if he was given the recieving talent at Florida or another big name college.

But don't forget also the kind of defenses he'd be facing week in and week out in that case, far better than anything Hawaii's seen this season.
