October is here, finally, and there is only one October, and there will be only one team left standing. Register your choice now.

I admit, I'm not much of a beisbol fan so I gotta roll with the hometown team...

No matter how minuscule their chances are of winning this thing.

I'll probably pull for the Cubs, but I'm really indifferent to the whole thing. As long as it's not Boston or NY, I don't really care.

Roll the dice and pick a team, just as good odds of picking it otherwise :p

I am going with the Red Sox. They have the best record in baseball. Having home field advantage throughout at Fenway will help. Their offense has been good lately, and their pitching is excellent. The Indians probably have the second best chance of winning.

I'll be the first to pick the Rockies.

    Good karma going now.

As long as the D'Backs, Angels or Red Sox don't win it all, I'll be happy. That said, I want the Cubs to win. :p

Voted for the Indians. Yes, it's a homer pick, but it's also something that I can see happening. With CC and Fausto anchoring the pitching staff, and the two Rafaels in the pen, this is a Tribe that's to be reckoned with.

Interesting how even if you ignore the votes for San Diego, the national league teams have twice as many votes as the American league teams. The AL has been clearly better this season.

I can't understand why anyone would want to vote for the Yankees.

you think that matters in this poll? People are just voting for their teams...

The Indians. I'm a huge Cleveland fan, but I'd place money on if they can beat the Yankees, and I think that they can and will, then they'll go the distance. You've got two Cy-Young candidates pitching, that are the strongest 1-2 punch in baseball right now. I believe they had something like a combined <2.0 ERA in September, and they have more combined wins than any other two pitchers from the same team.

Also, I believe they want it more.

That being said, LET'S GO TRIBE.

Or, in this case, their hometown teams, too. The winner will be from the AL. The Indians, Red Sox, Yankees, and Angels could all beat whoever survives the NL.

That's a common misconception. Don't underestimate the powers of the dark...er...I mean, National League.
