Oceania Who will win the AFL Grand Final 2006?

Who do you reckon will win the grand final this year? I tip Sydney will win the Grand Final for the second year running, although Fremantle might have a chance of winning their first premiership.

 

I'd vote for Fremantle but I can't seem them winning in Sydney AND at the MCG, so my vote goes to the WCE.

In my footy ignorance I'll vote for Sydney as well.

Don't care. because my team got knocked out early (well, in Essendons case it was about round 5 )

However, I wouldn't mind seeing Fremantle win

I'll say Sydney, because I want them to win, but in reality I think it'll probably be Adelaide or West Coast, unfortunately.

 

Why is someone from Melbourne voting for Sydney?

I didn't look very hard. Normally in AFL they're all from around there.

 

Sydney is just as good as Melbourne team, anyway. And anyone knows that any Melbournite would prefer Sydney ? or any team, really ? to win over a South Australian team.

 

Well, you can always go on the "technicality" that Sydney is actual South Melbourne

 

That's my excuse.



...And my better half may hurt me if I barrack for anyone else in the grand final...

i hope West Coast win but i think Sydney will do it.

 

It's as I expected. Eagles vs Sydney, Round 2. This time, however, the tables will be turned. My money is on West Coast for the perfect kind of revenge ... no offense

 

It's a rematch of the 2005 Grand Final. But I reckon Sydney will pull it off again second time round.

 

If I'd spotted this last week I would have put my money on Freo (My team)

Considering they fell to the Swans at the weekend I'm barracking for the Eagles this weekend.

The Eagles deserved to win.

Sydney had a forgettable first half and only seemed to fire in the second.

Congratulations to the Eagles. At least someone was playing football today.

 

Great game. Such an amazing rivalry with two teams that really show off the best of the sport.
