who would win a lightsaber duel: Corran vs. Kyle

Look, Jania took out several Vong using the dark side (spoilers from SxS), whereas Horn almost got killed fighting just one (killed one with a trick, he would have died from the second if not for the other jedi with him [Dark Tide 1]). So it seems that the vong are not nearly as strong as a newbe dark jedi. So given that Kyle took on several rather strong dark jedi, i think he has the better chance. Hope you folow my logic.

Sure I can. Jaina can kill rank-and-file Vong soldierly, which incidentally can almost anyone. and Corran almost gets greased by their leader- someone proven to be ruthless, unpredictable, cunning and dangerous, and obviously tougher than almost anyone else he commands. Plus he had killed Elikos in order to unsettle Corran and set him off balance. And Corran never had Qu-Rhan hovering near by whispering in his hear to give away his opponents' secrets.

 

Kyle Katarn is a seasoned fighter with his saber,fighting and killing 7 Dark Jedi isnt an easy thing even with dueling practice and saber training its easy to make a mistake and get killed by someone like Jerec who can take any mistake and make it into a lethal mistake.

Corran Horn is an expert X-Wing pilot with limited training and wouldnt stand a chance against kyle, he might be abe to beat Maw or Pic but thats it, it would be nice to see a Dark Jedi fight a Yuuzhan Vong warrior because they dont hold back and are too violent for any vong to handle.

both corran and kyle would be good opponents for the cloned emperor, palpatines clone would gut them both along with any vong warrior if he ever fought one.
