Commander Shepard because this is his favorite thread in the JCC.

Morgoth because I don't know why. His name sounds cooler I guess.

    DO NOT LIKE!!!

Anyway, Iron Man and Morgoth. As cool as Commander Shepard is, he's just an ordinary soldier (and besides I only really liked the first Mass Effect).

I hate to go against a character from TS but Morgoth can be physically wounded so I'm thinking Gladiator can damage him enough to win.

First, Tony Bleeping Stark would've ultimately found a better solution to the Reaper problem than Red, Green or Blue. Second, Tony's a better Tech Specialist by, say, about a billion, than Tali so if it were to go to a mano-a-mano between Shepard and him, well, biotics or no, Shepard would be reduced to a red smear.

Shepard did take a Reaper beam to the face and survive, that's pretty hardcore

I'm fairly certain Shepard has access to alien technologies which are shown to give Iron Man nightmares in Iron Man 3. I'm going with Shepard.

    And Morgoth

Eh, I wouldn't say he took a Reaper beam to the face...more like a near miss. I'm sure I had pretty good reason to think my entire squad had just been wiped out in that moment.

His armour was wrecked and he barely could walk, seems like he got a lot of it. Either way, Shepard would fight a Krogan without thinking twice, and he'd do well even without his squad.
But I guess that's the thing with Shepard, the squad. I don't think my Shepard would go anywhere, let alone rush headlong into danger without bringing some of his comrades along (especially Garrus).

One-on-one Shepard may not be the best, but he rarely ever is on his own. In these situations like fighting Iron Man, it would largely depend what guns he has with him and/or if he has biotics. The variables are problematic for him.

Take the Reaper Black Star Generator (it was called something like that, I think.) Capable of wiping out everything in a very large radius.

Shepard could tote one of those and annihilate Stark.

(Frankly, I love Shepard and don't get the fuss about Iron Man.)

You all forget about the Blood Dragon Armor that Shepard can wear at all times:

I used that like one time, Collector Armour was better.

And any of those > Iron Man Armour even though they can't fly

Er...did any of Shepard's armors carry the offensive weaponry found in one of Tony's lesser suits? Nope, I can't recall either. :p

He doesn't need them on his suit, he has them in his hands (or in his body if you have biotics).

Fair enough. Considering the devastating power of some of the weapons and powers available to Shep & Co., Tony might have his hands full if he doesn't adapt and neutralize them quickly. However, the advantages at his disposal (aerial superiority plus the repulsor and other directed-energy offensive capabilities of many of his suits) could quickly neutralize many of the conventional, biotic and tech offensive that the Normandy boys and girls could throw at him.

What is to stop Shepard creating a barrier to defend himself from repulsor blasts, or a singularity to trap Iron Man and then smash him with Flare?
Plus he could still be caught while flying and slammed into something.

Iron Man is limited by the suit Stark would have at the time of the confrontation, and Shepard has fought tougher opponents than a flying man who shoots repulsor enemies. Iron Man has nothing on Banshees, he's more like a Geth Prime.

You clearly know very little beyond the films. Iron Man is capable of a much higher offensive output--to say nothing of his defense--than any single opponent Shep faces. Tony's assault might be slowed, but it's never stopped, and there's zero chance of Shep breaking through his defense.

Dude, Iron Man's suit isn't the equivalent of a Geth Prime. You remember how Thor smashed his hammer into him and the suit kept functioning? It's more like a man-sized Reaper :p
