Well they just became a bit random, but I'm still having fun (particularly with the presumed supervillain showdown that's looming.)

I find how people vote so wildly inaccurately to be fun.

Yes, this is the problem with a tournament like this. Perhaps next time around some more information about each character should be posted so that even those who don't know them well have a better way to judge how the fight would go rather than just voting for who they have heard of or voting based on how said character is in a particular format.
I try to vote in a logical way if I can.

That being said - I'll go for both the Archers to win these. Legolas & Hawkeye

The Mewtwo one was pretty even, just the voting was one-sided :p

    DON'T. YOU. DARE.

I wanna see how the Doom Vs. Thanos match unfolds. Because we know those are gonna be the two last men standing.

Do people voting for Hawkeye realise when Sephiroth was annoyed he crashed a comet into a planet and later created a supernova? Archer lol.

Even if Sephiroth was just an emo with a sword, he'd probably still be able to beat Hawkeye. That guy is one of the most terrible characters ever and not really worth being classified as a superhero. I mean, the best thing I can say about him is he doesn't have any Stretch Armstrong powers.

The comet was from outside the Milky Way, and he destroyed half the solar system in creating the Supernova.

If & when another contest of this type comes around, I would like to see characters such as Apocalypse, Magneto, Beyonder, Carnage, Odin, Unicron, Darth Nihilus & Omega (from Dr Who) feature. We need as many powerful beings from all fictional universes as we can get.

It would be fun to see characters from fantasy novels as well. Raistlin, Pug, Elminster, Drizzt, etc.

You'd want to specify a given ledendary figure. Merlin from the Excalibur film or Merlin from DC or Marvel comics? That sort of thing.

My gut says ISD and Rand's so hopelessly outclassed against the Anti-Monitor that it's kind of amusing.

    Star Destroyer and Anti-Monitor

Thanks to the math of the Technical COmmentaries and SD.net, it becomes apparrent that SD's are god like power with god like defense used by humans. Megatons of power are thrown about with ease, and they have tens of thousands of them.

Eh, those numbers kind of suck, they're whipped up by EU folks with no sense of scale.

Still, ISD > Steamboat > Cthulhu.

An ISD could sit in orbit and bombard Cthulhu with turbolasers, plus it has TIE Bombers and Fighters. So Star Destroyer wins that one.

    Anti-Monitor for the other win
