Who would win? (Yuuzhan Vong vs D-Reaper)

From what I have read about & seen, IMHO I think that this would make for a good discussion.

For starters, the D-Reaper & Yuuzhan Vong have similarities IMO in how they are nigh-unstoppable forces in which the Tamers/GFFA had to fight with devestating losses (well, more so in the Digital Plain than on Earth unlike in the GFFA, 365 trillion), along with how. Add to that, they were able to completely take over areas of Earth temporarily like the Vong did with Vongforming on worlds such as Coruscant.

However, there are differences being that the Vong are not a single entity like the Reaper and had interstellar capabilities. Add to that, they do not have the ability of assimilation like the Reaper.

One good thing though, Organic life such as the Yuuzhan Vong or anything non-digital would most likely survive inside the D-Reaper Bubble without special modification (Unless anyone Organic/Originally Non-Digital was in the Digital Plain however, then yes they would be deleted as they WOULD be digital). The only thing anyone would worry about is the ADR's attacking anyway & obviously the gelatinous blob spreading further out (& well, the communications systems of the Galactic Allance screwing up without jammers due to being inorganic).

Also, the Reaper was just a misguided program while the Vong were once peaceful becoming ferile due to war. & Well, wouldn't it be awesome to see someone like Shimmra Dukin' it out with the J-Reaper?

Hmmm, I had a really snippy comment about how "good taste" would win, but then I remembered that D-Reapers were from season 3, which is the best in the series.

So D-Reapers. Because it's cooler to be a well-done ripoff of the blob than to be a poorly-done ripoff of the Borg.

 

If I remember though, the D-Reaper could not absorb organics or buildings (being assimilated into the cables did not delete them but buried them or used them to form Mother D-Reaper) & Yuuzhan Vong are shapeshifters meaning they specialize in the creation of Beasts for war (being Organic after all). All I knows is, they would be angry as hell to deal with an enemy that is Technologically based due to their resentment of any form of non-organic tech (going as far as genocide if angered to the brink).

Oh, & I'm sure Jek Windu can tell you what a D-Reaper is .

 

Who would win in a fight? I think that the answer is obvious: Batman. The first rule of "who would win in a fight" questions is that the answer is always Batman, even when he's not presented as an option. Any time Batman isn't given an an option, it means that he planned things that way, and if things are going as he planned then he's already won.

Now, if the question is "Who would appear to be winning, Yuuzhan Vong vs D-Reaper, assuming Batman plan's involved allowing his enemies to fight each other without any apparent involvement on his part" then the answer is the crew of the Enterprise NCC 1701 or NCC 1701-D (whichever one gets drawn into the timeline that the fight is taking place). Either one could handle both the D-Reapers or the Yuuzhan Vong in the space of a 45 minute episode. Also, Kirk would totally score with all the hot chicks.
