Who would you fear more: Darth Vader or Grand Admiral Thrawn?

This thought occurred to me, and sorry wasn't sure if I should post this in EU or here, but who of the two would you fear more? Darth Vader or Grand Admiral Thrawn? I am interested to read the feedback. I'm not sure who I would fear more either. Both men are great villains in their own way

 

Thrawn isn't going to dissect me with his lightsaber or crush my trachea, so I think the answer has to be Lord Vader.

 

I would trust that I would at least have a chance of holding an intellectual conversation with Thrawn thereby impressing him just enough to let me live.

…Vader doesn't care about any of that. LOL

 

Vader might chop me up into pieces but Thrawn could probably twist me and around and use me for his own agenda. I think that's far more sinister.

 

Is this even really debateable? The chosen one vs just a man.

 

If you let him, that is.

 

The beauty is you wouldn't even know you were doing it.

 

Definitely Vader!

He could kill you by just being slightly irritated, using the force, slice you in half with his lightsaber or by lifting you off the ground with one hand and crushing your neck.

 

With Vader, perhaps that would apply. But even in the manipulation category I'm more scared of Vader because I'm fairly confident I've got the ability to deal with Thrawn. He's smart, sure, but he's doesn't have borderline magical powers to make anyone do his bidding.

The ability to deal with one over the other all depends on the individual, I know. In my case I am not physically capable of dealing with Vader and his abilities, my strength all lies in strategy and charisma - something that I could use with great efficacy when facing Thrawn.

 

Personally, I'd be more WAY more scared of Vader. Vader has the ability to use the Force, and he is just outright evil. Thrawn on the other hand...I never thought of Thrawn as evil. Hyper-intelligent, yes.

 

If I were a general or admiral commanding my forces against his, I'd be more worried about losing to Thrawn. Going up against the big boss one on one, Vader is far more dangerous.

 

Yeah, one on one, I'm scared of Vader. If commanding a fleet, I'm scared of Thrawn. Hell, maybe I'd be confident against Vader cuz his dopey Admirals keep losing YT-freighters all the time so you might have a chance if Vader delegates the giant fleet battle to the gaggle of Imps.

 

If Vader was leading a fleet, he would lose hands down. Now if he was just leading a fighter squadron....

Yeah, the immediate threat of getting brutally killed by Vader outweighs the long term threat of Thrawn...

 

Neither because both are just too darn sexy lol
