Not sure why I would take offense I just put the () comment in for those who might not be as enlightened as you. And as well you would be surprised how many people have no idea that the YVR is in Richmond actually.

 

I grew up in Richmond.

 

I'm a 27 year old Graphic Designer,I recently moved to Richmond from Kits...I don't like Richmond at all,But I needed a cheap place where I could have a dog.

 

I feel so old...

Yes, Thrawn, I suppose most people in BC would know where Richmond is but I wouldn't be surprised if there were people from other areas of Canada visiting your forum, like myself.

In case any of you are wondering, I'm one of the so-called City Representatives over in Toronto, and I'm somewhat bored, so I've decided to explore some of the other Canadian forums.

I am a full time college student and a full time Scout leader.

I am a big time Star war/Star trek fan. Actually I am a fan on any Sci-fi shows
that has starship moving around and shooting each other. Unfortunetly, most of my friends
aren't ST fans.

Well, MissNin, start one, then!

I am currently living in Vancouver, but the high rents have chased me out and I am on my way to the Island. Cheap apartments right near the water and schools and parks and community centres and library.

I grew up in Maple Ridge when it was a small town, and I miss that feeling, y'know?

My ex is less than pleased about having to take a long bus ride twice a week to see his older son (I am willing to do all the walking on and off of ferries and all that, but that apparently isn't worth his consideration), so I have a court date in two days, not even time to find a lawyer. Well, it will likely get deferred to a later date, so that's good, I guess, but where will my son be in the interim is the pressing question.

And I swore I'd never fight with him over the kids. Deep sigh.

So Christmas, packing, cleaning, court date, and moving... I've been a busy bunny...

Was Santa good to you this year?

That makes my hectic week seem pretty lame and pathetic.

Christmas can be stressful enough, so these extra pressures must be pretty trying on you.
