Whom Would You Serve?

If Star Wars was real (And I bet many of us hope it was) and you were going to fight in the Galactic Civil War, whom would you serve? The Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance? Why?

Me? The Galactic Empire of course. They have the best technology and I personally believe in their policies and such.

 

Rebel Alliance for me.
Empire = Evil.
Rebel = Good.
Empires take away the freedom of people. In other words you can't voice your opinions at all.
In a Rebel alliance you can help bring down the evil and restore freedom.
Of course, all of you already know that,
I think its pretty obvious.

Although, if Thrawn had been Emperor, I may have had second thoughts...that man was a genius..PURE genius...

The Empire. They have better technology, and personally I think that in such a vast universe, you can't have thousands of senators whining for the interests of their little planet.

 

Empire, I wouldn't want to be some rebel hanging out on Alderaan.

 

batvader: Tiny little planet? I think your generalizing a bit here...yes, it is a vast galaxy, but each planet containing sentient life deserves a say.


What if it was "Earth" that was being mis-represented? I bet it wouldn't be a "tiny little planet" then, eh?



But I think I get where your going- democracy is hard to attain with such a very large populace in which to hear from.

I'd be for both. I agree with the Rebellion more but since I'd be a bounty hunter and assassin either side would appeal to me!
HOwever, there are some things about the Empire that are better. So I'm be working for both!

Rebel Alliance, because I would want to be a Wampa.( what a Wampa can't serve the Alliance? Chewbacca did. He wasnt human either! ) The Empire does'nt allow Wampa's

I'd take the Empire ... but only if Thrawn was in charge, like KenKenobi said . Otherwise, I'd just be a freelance bounty hunter.

Was Han Solo a rebel? I'd want to be whatever Han was. A freelance freight pilot?

 

Han was once in the Imperial Navy. ( Tie piolt ) He was expelled for trying to pull a prank with a friend. He tried to blow a face I think on a moon, but ended up blowing up the moon? Something like that. ( Han Solo Trilogy : The Hutt Gambit EXCELLENT SERIES. BETTER THAN THRAWN TRILOGY )

 

Galactic Empire, for you can blow up planets if you wanted to for no apparent reason.

Dagobah: You take that back...Zahn is a genius, and the Thrawn Trilogy is the greatest EU ever.


No really...that's my opinion. The character development and storyline was awesome...almost as if I was sitting in a theatre and watching the Star Wars Sequel trilogy...




Oh, and Han was discharged because he defied orders and rescued a Wookie Slave.


I think the wookie's name was...hmmm...let me see...


I'm pretty sure it was Chewbacca.


Anyone ever hear of that name anywhere? ?
