FF:NSW whos going in costume?

Hey just wondering how many people are going to go in costume to the opening night of episode 2?

yeah I was thinking of going in costume but have no costume. was even considering whipping one up myself in a week, but dont know if its possible...

 

Will be in Uniform.

Hopefully my cousin also will be wearing costume - He doesnt know it yet as he's overseas on Hoiliday! But got him a ticket for when he gets back, and conditions apply

 

slavey has two slave leia costumes.

he has two because he wore the first one out.

 

Im not wearing them to Fox though.

I'll be going in almost-costume. I don't have anything that is difinitive Star Wars, but I'm fairly confident in both my ability to whip up something with a bit of a futuristic spark, as well as my acting and ability to stay in character (Just ask the manager at Summer Hill Maccas... boy, I must have given him a heart attack. It's a long-ish story. I'll tell it when we're lining up.)

 

Hmmm... I could go in a kind of costume but I've got nothing Star Wars.

Maybe something Matrixy..? I dunno. It'd put those boots of mine to good use!

I will appear in some form of costume. How well it looks depends on how much sleep I get in the next week

suze & i will be in costume (jango fett and jedi). i wish my youngest son was going to the premiere with me this time as he'd make a perfect boba fett (he even looks like my clone!)

my friends who had me buy them tickets are wimps and won't be in costume.

 

I might take my costume along and then see how crappy everyone else's is before putting mine on (the one I wore to Syforce that time). Oblio, you're not making it easier

 

Depends on whether or not I can whip up a desert poncho in time, else i'll be turning up dressed like i always do, unfashionably

 

I'll be going in costume...pretty easy, all black, and black cape.

Even growing a beard for it...

regardless of how your costume looks, just do it (to borrow a trademarked overused phrase)

remember, ff'ers won't be the only ones there - given that there will be about 900 people at fox studios alone, so i'm sure there will be good costumes and simple ones just to get into spirit of things. this will be the 3rd sw movie premiere that i've dressed for and it's a huge part of the event. it's almost addictive- so i've worn costumes to celebration 1 and several conventions.

a friend sent me photos from celebration 2 and there were some fantastic costumes and some really simple ones. no body walks around and says 'hey dude, it sucks to be you in *that* costume'.

anybody who's thinking about it - just remember 2 things:
-you'll have fun doing it
-the kids who are there will think it's cool and it helps make the experience for them (as well as everyone else)

She managed to steal teh good lightsaber to, i get the one that doesnt extend very well.

I've got a crappy costume to wear, so i'm all set, as for the saber, i've got a nice one i' made up using a vacuum cleaner handle and some red coloured plastic
