man... i now have to go to a meeting in lane cove at 10:00 in business attire though i would be pretty good to attend an important meeting in mandalorian armour...

I've got my Padawan braid! Just waiting on my sabre to be sprayed and I'm looking for a pair of boots.

 

I'm in need of some boots too. Not Jedi boots though. I am thinking of getting some army boots, since I'll end up wearing them on more than just this one occasion . Anyone know how much they'll cost me?

 

I saw the most fantastic brown boots in Kmart, the right length and without a big heel. Perfect. And they're only $60 which is reasonable. Unfortunately I spent $90 on a pair of black boots with a huge heel last year, so I won't be getting these ones. But I offer this information to all girls and guys (with small feet) who might be looking for boots for a Jedi costume.

 

Well I FOUND my boots, black army ones, which are perfect for my costume. They were in a box, not a bag like I thought.

 

Bought new pants, closer to what Dooku has. Havent gotten a new black shirt, but I have a long sleeve one that will do fine given I am wearing a cape.

Shoes will just be an old pair of docs (need to polish them...), I went to buy a dark grey belt (shown on the front page of the os), but I wasnt about to spend $23 on it....I'll look for a cheap black ribbon or something...

Possibly....it depends o if I can get a lift.

Ki, what are you suing to colour your saber?

I'm stuck with using a red tape i found at officeworks so i can use play around with it and beat the heel out of slavey. I was going to use paint but that would have chipped very easily


On a side note, lightsaber blades, what's better plastic or aluminium, I have one blade from each. The metal dents and bends, whereas the plastic just breaks. Any thoughts?


Oh, and I am attempting to make a second dooku saber in 3 days flat. The first is not to bad, but has a lot of rough edges that i would like to fix up in the second version. If i finish it, i'll bring both

 

Biggs and Dagsy, what about after the event, will you get changed back or call a taxi (I wonder if some taxi's will pick up Jedi LOL!)

Tek, metal, get a few if your using in a film, I was going to use Coduit but aparently it breaks and that = shrapnel, possibly in the eyes (ie- blinded).
