I was thinking we could have it at a private venue, That way its just the SAFF crew that way costumes wont get too trashed..... [face_worried]

Was also Thinking of possible times and dates ( any Suggestions???? im not really fussed when or where we have it, What i would really like is to hold the event so Everyone at Saff can turn up. :D

I know its quite a long way off but was wondering if we could turn it into a Halloween party, with Halloween being on the Mon 31st Oct was thinking we could hold it on, the Fri 28th, or Sat 29th.....

I have been doing a bit of research on the hiring of the kareoke Machine. The machine i am looking at has 1000 kareoke tunes aswell as a built in juke box for when we are all sung out.

I have Also been scouting possible locations to hold this event. If anyone has any suggestions would love to hear them....

So if your name isnt already on the list please feel free to add it cheers ;)

I'm up for any sort of Kareoke and costume mayhem.
I can't sing but that won't stop me getting into the INXS tunes like I usually do at my sister's Halloween party.

    Count me in.

Oh and as for locations, maybe a local hall or something we could hire out would be good.

Isn't there a town hall in Norwood? The Trekkies used to meet there.....maybe it's up for hire? Or on Fullarton Road there is a hall near a garden......hmmmm what was that place called.

Sounds good, if anyone can find me the details and agree on a venue I can start working out costings. Once we have numbers I can work out cost per person, will try and keep it as cheap as possible for those of us on a bugdet.

I was Wondering if you would want it an afternoon event or evening, Fri or a Sat. Im sure we can find a few darksiders that will party all night lol ;)

It is building up to ANZAC day....they get busy. ;) But If I recall, it's a big hall with a garden outside. Maybe a sausage sizzle even? Just a thought.

:) Sausage Sizzles are cool , I think if we all bring a salad or something along we could make a good party out of it.

Kensington Park, I think my Grandfather might have been afiliated with them once upon a time.

I think it's a really nice place, good thinking AD.

sounds like a RSL hall would be the best bet...cheap hire. Norwood town hall would cost a small fortune!!

I dunno, plenty of halls around that would be happy to hire out for a reasonable price. As I'm not into organising any more, I'll just sit back and watch while you guys sort it out. Just name the date, etc, etc (as usual), will let you know if I can be there or not....

    :)
