He was James Bond's best friend and he betrayed him. Also, he's very cute. [face_love]

I went with Goldfinger. He gave us a very classic line:

Bond: Do you expect me to talk?
Goldfinger: No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!

You should have put the villian that Dr. Evil is based on. Blofeld of "You only Live twice" :)

If you'll look closely, you'll see that he is in the list. And he would get my vote. He's at his most evil in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, where he has Bond's wife killed.

LOL, oops. I stand corrected. [face_blush]

Edit: Hmmm, I think I will rent On Her Majesty's Secret Service. It's the only one I haven't seen.

I would have to agree with Ramius; Goldfinger and his classic line "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"

Scaramanga, of course. Can't beat that superfluous third nipple.
    Plus, it's Christopher Lee.

Yes, Christopher Walken portrayed a convincing villain in an otherwise bland Bond film. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that he's the epitome of "crazy but not stupid", and he even wasted his own men with less remorse than Darth Vader. I'm surprised that he wasn't included.

Still, I voted for Goldfinger because he's different than any of the other Connery villains (Goldfinger "only" wanted to increase his gold supply's value instead of aspriring to dominate the world).

Goldfinger, because after Austin Powers, Blofeld became to funny to be a villain...

Blofeld sucks even without Austin Powers to mock him.

"You Only Live Twice" featured a Blofeld (Donald Pleasence) whose face isn't too unlike Anakin's in ROTJ (bald, beardless, and scarred) but his character didn't do the SPECTRE organisation justice. He wasn't particularly vicious. He was more comfortable behind his desk ensuring his plans come to fruition than to get into the thick of the battle.

"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" had a Blofeld (Telly Savalas) who somehow lost that scar over his right eye, but his personality had changed a bit. His voice is deeper, more ominous, and more American-sounding than the previous Blofeld. He covered up his operations by running an allergy clinic in the Swiss Alps (which really was preparing the patients to do his dirty work). He was a bit more physically involved, and he was easily the best of the three "main" Blofelds, which really isn't saying much.

"Diamonds Are Forever"'s Blofeld was a joke. He had people running around that looked just like him in order to throw Bond off (who was seeking revenge for his wife's death) and was clumsy and stupid, for lack of better words, compared to the other Blofelds. I mean, when Bond switched the tapes, anyone with half a brain would have figured out what he was up to.

*slaps forehead* Silly me, I totally forgot about the incredible (and incredibly lovely) Elektra King and I already voted... ah well. Honorary mentions for her as my favorite female villain. (For the record, Sophie Marceau is one of the only reasons I am willing to subject myself to Denise Richards's "acting" in 'The World is Not Enough'...)

006, because there was alot more tension between Bond and him than other villians as they were once friends and he being a Traitor.

I went for Goldfinger. But I like OO6 too. I also like Elliot Carver from Tomorrow Never Dies. He was going to start WWIII just to sell more papers. As James Bond puts it "You really are quite insane."
