Vader is the greatest villain in movie cinema history. Everyone in the world knows who your talking about with a mere impersonation of his breathing... No matter what language they speak.

Darth Vader of course!!!!!! My least favorite is Darth Maul....that dude just gives me the creeps.
I have a friend who had a giant black lab named Vader...he was so cool.

 

I guess I've never really thought of Darth Vader as a bad guy because Luke brings him back to the light in the end, so I have to go with Palpatine.

Vader is the ultimate in Baddies, but part of me wanted to vote for Grand Admiral Thrawn. Vader was intimidating and powerful, but Thrawn was truly brilliant as a tactician and as a leader, as well as probably the most intelligent SW character ever conceived. He would've taken over had it not been for the soft, quite deceit of his Noghri bodyguard.

Daala clawed her way up through the ranks of the Empire only to be batted down, and then when she finally got a break she got shoved in the middle of the Maw. You saw what she could do with a handful of ships and rigid power in the Jedi Academy Trilogy! I mean, she didn't even have the Force to help her! And all she ever wanted was love, sweet love. What better villain than one who lives to see brighter days?

2. that Christopher Lee is better off playing wizards.

 

Actually, I liked Christopher Lee in AOTC!! (He's one of the few things that didn't disappoint me about the movie.) The man can act the phone book and make it interesting. His performance in LOTR is nothing in comparison to his acting in Gormenghast. And I am a fan of his House of Hammer Vampire films, too.

I don't think Dooku sucks in the least, but I like Vader better. I don't know if it's because Vader has a 25-year advantage on my psyche, or if he's just better.

Nah, he's just better.

 

I voted for Darth Maul, he is the only one to have actually beaten a jedi (on screen at least, not sure about the EU guys) he looks cool, he has awesomes moves. The guy is just plain cool. Vader is a sissy he can't even whack his own son. Obi Wan would of kicked his but if he hadn't given up to let luke and the others escape.

 

Vader would whoop all their little scrawny butts. Look, he took out a Dark Lord of Sith. He'd kill anybody in the galaxy. Hmmm, a Vader/Exar Kun battle would be fun...

I kind of feel like Brit, if you asked me who my favorite hero was I'd say Anakin Skywalker too, because in the end he saved the galaxy by killing the Emp.

Come on Tim, if Vader had the chance he woulda smacked Thrawn around too.

My son and I have this debate all the time about who would win, Maul (my son's choice) or Vader, and I just tell him "force choke baby..."! Or huge black cat is nicknamed "Vader".
