    Lister - I always found his disgusting habits quite a turn-on. [face_blush]

Holly - the male version. He's such a cheerful soul I can't help but love him ;)

That was a smeggin' hard choice to make.
I had to say Rimmer. Losers make good comedy.

Yikes...tough choice. Rimmer, Lister, Holly (male), Kryten, and Cat all are top of my list. At this moment, I'll say Rimmer. :p

What's Red Dwarf, and should I be afraid that there is a male and female "version" to a person?

RIMMER!! Chris Barrie is hilarious. The worst series was the one where he was absent.

What hawk said. Holly, played by Norman Lovett, is a close second for me.

I loved Series 8. I thought 6 & 7 were pretty weak, but with the return of Rimmer, Holly and Captain Hollister(Mac MacDonald - he was in Aliens you know), the show really got a new lease of life.

    Lister, definitely.

    (assuming, as I always do, that series 7 & 8 don't exist)

Main character - Rimmer is by far the best drawn character, but The Cat is the funniest.

    Minor character - Talkie Toaster.

Rimmer, because he had the strange ability to be utterly arrogant, yet charmingly neurotic...with a healthy dose of sarcasm thrown in for good measure.

Another mention of a favorite minor character: Nirvanah Crane.
