I dont' think we've done this - have we? I've always been curious where you guys' loyalties lie.... ;) I'd hate to insult one of your favorites like Jar Jar in conversation and hurt any feelings...

    Mine's Anakin/Vader

Because he big, he's bad, he's nationwide...

    [face_laugh]

I also love Han and Leia.

    Good question! :)

When I first saw Star Wars in 1977 (at the tender age of 4), my most favorite character was Darth Vader. He looked cool, he sounded cool...let's face it, he is the coolest villain ever. My second fave character was Leia. She was the first female character that I had seen in my short life that took charge and seemed to know exactly how she wanted things done. My third favorite character was Han Solo. He was just plain cool.

When I saw The Phantom Menace, I found that I liked Qui-Gon Jinn and Maul. Qui-Gon, to me, was the epitome of what I think a Jedi should be: compassionate, determined, and clever. Maul had the whole quiet menace thing down pat. Plus, his fighting style is gracefully fluid and deadly. And, you have to admit, the double-bladed lightsaber is pretty darn nifty. ;) It was a real downer when my two favorite character were killed in one fight. :p

In Attack of the Clones, I found that I was really warming up to Obi-Wan. He is beginning to show the same wit and humor that we see in the old Obi-Wan in A New Hope. He is a much more likeable character than the young Obi-Wan of The Phantom Menace.

So, in summary, my all-time favorite characters are:
    [ul][li]Darth Vader[/li]
    [li]Princess Leia[/li]
    [li]Han Solo[/li]
    [li]Qui-Gon Jinn[/li]
    [li]Darth Maul[/li]
    [li]Obi-Wan Kenobi[/li][/ul]

I can't narrow it down to one, so I got to go with my top five:

    1. Han Solo, as Minacia said, he's just cool. :D

    2. Anakin Solo, he kicked Vong butt.

    3. Tenel Ka, I like sardonic characters.

    4. Wedge Antilles

    5. Kyle Katarn

    It's a close tie between

    Han Solo and R2-D2

Asking me to choose between the 2 would just be wrong.

Has to Be Obiwan. In all movies I've seen he has impressed me.

Episode1- young, Brash, quick wit and saber, just made up of what a jedi in their prime should be.

Episode2- finnally getting that cool hair effect, I like the fact that he wasn't the best teacher, hell he never had time to just be a Knight on his own quests

Episode 4- The mysterious sage like character
    a maryter of sorts

Episode 5- Still the guiding force in Luke's life, now that he couldn't teach him, he guided him to someone who could

Episode 6- A comforting and counseling force, you saw regret when he spoke to luke. Just a very rounded out character
