Why arent there any Zero Gravity scenes in the movies?

    also, it's the Star Wars universe. If they hear sound in space, they may walk in space without floating and without suits

    So, SW should've been filmed in the twenties. Then it'd be a mute film and the sound in space problem would be fixed!

    Making a realistic zero-g scene is probably tough and expensive to do, so unless there's a good reason to do it, I doubt Lucas would have put it in a scene. And really, the only scene that could have used it is the asteroid scene in ESB since Han, Leia and Chewy should have been walking around at best, like the astronauts on the moon.

    If weightlessness is ever shown in one of the films, I just hope they do it the same way Apollo 13 did, using NASA's Vomit Comet to create a real zero-g environment. It would be expensive, but if Apollo 13 can have half the movie filmed in there, Lucas can pull enough money from his pockets to film a few minutes in it. ;)
