Wouldn't it be better to see a pre-TPM film than a post-ROST film?

    What's your opinion on that?

Ah, this one I can shed some light on, being an avid Star Wars reader. ANH is an EU novel that came out a while back called A New Hope. It was pretty bad, featuring, among other things, dialogue such as Luke's asking "What's a duck?" I mean, it might have been been okay for when it was written, but clearly Lucas had not yet shared his post-Clone Wars plans with the authors, and a lot of it will be invalidated. It also had a sequel, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, that wasn't much better. It did feature Luke fighting Vader, which I guess is cool, but he was so untrained it was just silly. Plus Leia wasn't a Jedi, didn't even have any Force powers!

And, it's probably the source of those incest rumors, as Luke and Leia did have some romance scenes in the books. [face_sick] But fortunately we know George doesn't follow the EU, so we won't have to see any of these plots.

Yeah, I read that book. It's obvious Lucas had nothing to do with it.
