    {POSTERS NOTE: Alright, trust me, Sidious and Palpatine are one and the same, but this is just to combat the claims made by Clonies that Palpy is really a clone of Sidious}

    The Emperors last name is Palpatine, not Sidious, so what makes you think Palps is Sidious' clone when it is more likely the other way around?

    First of all, Sidious's real name before he became a Sith could have been Palpatine. Second, Sidious is a trickster. He could take on any name he wanted if he thought it would keep him in power longer.

    Let's say they ARE one and the same. Why would Sidious keep the name "Palpatine" anyway? After all, he's a Sith. Would you not use your Sith name rather than that "fake" name you used to get where you were? So, the fact that the Emperor uses the name "Palpatine" really doesn't prove anything, IMO. That's the name the galaxy knew the Emperor by, so that's the name Sidious used, whether Palpatine is a clone of Sidious or not.

    I assume that this is in response to our thread: Is Palpatine a Clone? Lets leave all comments on this subject in that thread. :)

    :cool: Mace Windy,
