Like watch the battle Anakin vs Dooku and then Anakin vs Obi Wan.
In both cases Anakin is constantly pushing forward only attacking. But why could Dooku not keep up with Anakin and lost so quickly to him? It is said Dooku is a Duel Master.

Anakin was calmer and more in control during his battle with Dooku compared to the state he was in during his battle with Obi-Wan. Plus Obi-Wan know Anakin's style by heart since he trained him and fought with him.

"I sense great fear in you, Skywalker. You have hate. You have anger. But you don't use them."

Anakin was already good, but he gave into his hate and anger, and by doing so he bested Dooku. Dooku's skill isn't gone just because he was defeated by Anakin. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

A similar thing happened to Obi-Wan in TPM. He gave into his anger and almost bested Maul. But unlike Maul, he wasn't in control of the anger that fueled him.

Same with Anakin when he dueled Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan exploited his lack of control and blindness, so he beat him.

The reason is simple: Anakin didn't try to jump over Dooku like he does with Obi-wan.

Foolish Dooku. He had the high ground at the beginning of their confrontation. Then he has to show off by flipping down.

His job was to kill Obi-wan and turn Anakin. Kinda renders staying on the stairs moot if he won't engage them.

Also, with Dooku, he was focusing his anger, letting it fuel him but not clouding his judgement.

Obi-Wan? Exact opposite. He let it overwhelm him, cloud his judgement so he was in a cloud of blind, white-hot rage.

There’s focused rage and unhinged rage. One wins a battle, the other does not.

Dooku was arrogant and never saw himself losing. Obi-Wan had the high ground...er...I mean was fighting with purpose. In this case, Anakin was the arrogant one and never saw himself losing.
