Why did Dooku keep his Jedi name but not Anakin?

    Also, could you imagine everyone referring to him as Anakin, or *gasp* Ani.

    MOTTI: Don't try and frighten us with your sorcerer's ways Ani. Do you know Ani makes you seem like a little girl?

    I don't think Dooku even considered himself a sith lord, having lived most of his life under the jedi order. I think he was a visionary who sought to destroy the catagories of the 'dark' and 'light' side of the force, and therefore use each side to his benefit rather then label himself as evil. My point is that Anakin clearly fit under the 'evil' persona and resultantly would hate to live under his original name.
