Why didn't Dooku ever have yellow eyes?

What's the deal with the Sith having yellow eyes and Dooku not ever having them?

Even Anakin, who just became a Sith got them really fast.

I'm trying to understand if they come out from hate, anger, or doing dark deeds.

Any thoughts?

He uses the dark side with moderation.

He's not MAD, ANGRY or anything.

He's just plain dissapointed at the Republic.

 

Dooku is what I call a "relaxed Sith" , he has anger but doesn't show it like Maul or Sids, he can express it well though.

Oh and this has been discussed a lot before.

 

In ROTJ, Palpatine was VERY relaxed, and he still had yellow eyes...

The same with Maul in TPM, when he wasn't fighting, he was very calm and with yellow eyes

 

Dooku was just a fallen Jedi (mebe Dark Jedi), not a full fledged Sith. Methinks he secretly planed to use Palps plans for himself, defeat teh Jedi and teh Republic and star Jedi Order from scratch.
An idealistic fool he was.

 

Not a full fledged Sith!?!?! He killed Sifo-Dyas! He used SITH lightning...he had a freakin' red lightsaber.

The fact that he was expendable or a former Jedi doesn't mean he wasn't a Sith.

 

Its probably something you can eventually control, and Dooku is a classy guy, who doesn't want yellow eyes making him look crazy

He isn't a real Sith, he is not totally evil like Palpatine. He just uses the Sith teachings to gain more power and change the Galaxy.

He's a real Sith, he just doesn't show enough anger, hate, and evilness for his eyes to turn.

 

Dooku's not only a "real Sith," but a Sith Lord; hence the title Darth Tyrannus.

To answer the question, I think it's because he wasn't quite as evil as most of the other Sith, and that he wasn't utterly saturated with the dark side.
