why didnt obi or yoda trained leia??

    she must be as powerfull with the force as luke, why wasnt she trained??

    Maybe they were keeping her in reserve, in case Luke failed.

    Yes, but it was when Lukes training began that the Emperor and Vader became "aware" of him. Until that point, they didn't know/care where he was.

    Maybe by keeping Leia "in the dark" about her Force potential, they were hoping to keep her hidden from the Dark Side until/if they needed her.

    She's a politician and they're not to be trusted. Obi-Wan probably doesn't think she can handle it, plus she was on a different planet being brought up by politicans, and we all know how much he loves politician. ;p
