Discussion Why didn't Vader get to...

    ...kill the entire Rogue One crew? I absolutely loved the movie and don't get me wrong - the ending was great BUT... I am just wondering whether it would have been better if they all managed to escape from Scariff and just when we would have thought they were safe, Vader would step in and kill them all one by one.

    Each of the Rogue One crew sacrificed their lives to advance the mission to the next stage. They each made decisions to trade their lives for their cause.


    Flawlessly executed from a symbolic narrative perspective.


    ..and Vader got his badass moment -- the point was made.
