Why does Luke have a feeling of deja vu after he & Artoo crash on Dagobah?

In episode V, When Luke is cleaning up Artoo after they crash on Dagobah, he mentions that "something seems familar about this place." WHY!?! It's killing me! I can't wait for episode III! How did Yoda, the most important Jedi master, end up here? Did he choose to hide here, or is the dark side of the Force somehow keeping him under house arrest? Is Dagobah's dark mucky swamps and vegitation the result of the Dark Side's grasp on a once lush and green planet. I'm scared to put the pieces together.

Personally, I think something will happen in Ep3 that will explain this comment, there are lots of theories on this, look in the Ep3 forums for more info.

Luke and Leia could be born on Dagobah. That's my gf's theory anyways.

 

Yoda - "A long time, have I watched this one"

Luke recognizes Yoda's presence. That is what was "familiar about this place." He even says he feels like he's being watched, and turns out he was. I seriously doubt anyone but Yoda goes to Dagobah in Ep.III.

 

Degobah is Naboo... *Gets stoned to death.* NeverMind...

 

Presumably Dagobah is where Luke was "safely hidden away" from his father after he and Leia were born.

 

Maybe he and Liea were born there.
