It's gotta be a boy thing... "Simon's teacher recently banned Star Wars talk, except at recess, because debates over plot points had gotten too vociferous."

I also think the mom's point that her kids now know the plot for Harry Potter even though they have yet to open one of the books is hysterical! Harry Potter has so much SW rehash in it.

    Interesting.
    That's how it all begins...
It like a virus. Oh yes, I remember it well.
Trying to ban it only makes it worse.
    Thank you.

:D The Force is strong in this one... That boy is the next generation of Jedi Knights. The mere fact that he knew that a dianoga changes colors to match that of his last meal is pretty impressive for someone so young, which either means he's read the Essential Guide to Creatures, SW Encyclopedia and/or has been on wookiepedia... My guess is the later since his parents DENIED him SW in general. Either way, he's got the makings of an good EU specialist.

The parents should actually embrace the fact that their son is indulging in something like Star Wars. There are way worse things to be concerned about that he could be doing, like drugs and drive bys. lol... Actually I've found Star Wars to be a really good "in" with people who are casual fans and always have questions about the universe. It's pretty good for networking surprisingly enough IF you know how to use this power correctly. ;)
